'Right care, Right deal' campaign - launch of new research on social care

New research from coalition of charities finds that 87% of people in England aged 18 - 64 have made no provision for their social care in older age, while 62% of respondents said they had no idea how much it would cost them. 57% of people said they found the prospect of social care when they are older to be "depressing". 'Right care, Right deal' campaign - made up of Help the Aged, Counsel & Care and Carers UK - launch a new report "It's Everybody's Business", containing policy calls for Government in advance of the Green Paper on social care reform, as well as human stories of how the system is failing older and disabled people, their carers and families.
