New IMA chairman, deputy chairman and board member appointed

Douglas Ferrans took over as Chairman of the Investment Management Association from 1 January 2010. He replaces Robert Jenkins who has left the UK to take up the role of CEO and Managing Partner of Combinatorics Capital LLC, a New York based global macro hedge fund manager.

Bob Yerbury, Senior Managing Director of Invesco Ltd and Chief Investment Officer of Invesco Perpetual, takes the role of Deputy Chairman.

Alan Brown, Group Chief Investment Officer at Schroders has joined the IMA Board.

Commenting, Douglas Ferrans, Chairman of IMA said:
