Press Release
London First comment on Heathrow terminal 5
Wednesday, July 9 2008
Today (Wednesday 09 July), the House of Commons Transport Committee takes evidence on the opening of Heathrow Terminal 5.
Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of London First, said, "Despite the teething problems, Terminal 5 can have a crucial, transforming effect on the visitor’s perception of London.
"Our recent survey of London-based businesses has shown that the Heathrow passenger experience is amongst their top concerns. Both BAA and British Airways are to be applauded for the way they have worked together to overcome initial difficulties.
"We also welcome British Airways’ introduction of a dedicated business check-in - a response to passengers’ comments."
