Legion welcomes listing of historic aviation sites

The Royal British Legion warmly welcomes the announcement by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport of the listing of historic aviation sites throughout the country.
They will now remain as monuments to the leading role this country played in the development of aviation and to the heroism of our airmen and women, especially those who gave their lives in war.
