IMA updates sector classification chart
18 June 2009
The Investment Management Association (IMA) has published a new sector classification chart to clarify how the sectors relate to one another.
The new chart splits all IMA sectors in to four principal groups - income, growth, capital protection, and specialist. These are then broken down further, allowing IFAs and consumers to identify which sectors best suit their needs.
The new sector classification chart can be viewed here.
