IMA makes changes to global emerging markets sector definiton

The Investment Management Association (IMA) has revised its Global Emerging Market sector definition, which will be effective from 1st February 2010. The main change is the reference to what constitutes an emerging market equity, which will now be based on the FTSE or MSCI Global Emerging Markets index rather than World Bank definitions.
