FLA WELCOMES FINANCIAL INCLUSION ACTION PLAN

Welcoming today’s announcement by Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Kitty Ussher, MP, of additional funding for financial inclusion initiatives, FLA Director General, Stephen Sklaroff, said:

“The FLA is pleased that the Government has committed further resources to tackle financial exclusion. However, there is still scope for more and better-coordinated action on financial education. The focus should be on prevention: a well-informed consumer is an empowered consumer.”
