Press Release
FLA announces the sad death of Ashley Holmes
16 April 2007
It is with great sadness that that the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) has announced the sudden death of Ashley Holmes, its Head of Legal Affairs and Policy Development, at the age of 46. Ashley leaves Jo and a 9 year old daughter, Tilly. Ashley was a key member of FLA's team, not only leading the policy team but as FLA's in-house legal adviser. It is no exaggeration to say that he led the industry's voice on domestic and EU consumer credit reforms. This was recognised by his involvement on various Government taskforces and also his chairmanships of the CBI consumer affairs committee and the Eurofinas and Leaseurope legal and consumer affairs committees in Brussels. He will be sorely missed by all at FLA and beyond.
We will pass on further details of funeral arrangements as soon as we know them.
