FLA ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENTS

FLA is delighted to announce that Janet Edwards has joined the FLA as Head of Finance to replace Dennis Jeffrey who retired in December after eight years with FLA. Janet joins FLA from the Employers’ Forum on Disability where she had been for 2 years.

In addition to her finance role, Janet has joined as Company Secretary, as well as taking over as Secretary to the Board.

Policy

FLA is delighted to announce a strengthening of its policy team with the recruitment of Richard Bostock as Senior Policy Adviser and Paul Harrison as Policy Adviser. Both will work with Ashley Holmes, FLA’s Head of Legal Affairs and Policy Development, to further the concerns of FLA’s members both within the industry and with legislators. 

Richard, who specialises in insurance, insolvency and anti-money laundering issues, joined FLA at the end of November, bringing with him extensive experience of the consumer credit sector from his work with the Financial Services Authority and the Office of Fair Trading.

Paul also joined in November and comes to FLA from two and a half years at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). His experience of the motor industry will reinforce FLA’s voice in motor policy, especially with motor finance.
