Press Release
e-skills UK opens the doors to the Staffroom
15 June 2009
e-skills UK recently welcomed the first teachers into the e-skills Staffroom, an online resource providing an innovative way for teachers to plan and deliver ICT lessons and the computer clubs CC4G (connect, create, go).
e-skills Staffroom provides teaching resources and learning content, mapped to the National Curriculum and the Diploma in IT. Teachers and students are able to communicate with each other online, and e-skills Staffroom also provides a place for teachers to share resources and experiences with one another.
It can be a real challenge to find teaching materials that make students as enthusiastic about technology inside the classroom as they are outside school. e-skills Staffroom is full of ideas and resources that will make the jobs of teachers easier and more enjoyable, and will help them to get young people excited about technology.
e-skills Staffroom is available to all schools and colleges delivering CC4G and the Diploma in IT.
