David Ross to join CII

David Ross, formerly Head of Media Relations at Norwich Union Life (now Aviva) will be taking on the mantle of Head of Media Relations at the CII.

Ross will report to the CII Director of Policy and Public Affairs, David Thomson, who says:

"I am delighted to welcome David Ross to the CII at a time when it is growing in its influence and reach. David brings valuable experience from the market place."

"It is our ambition to improve how we communicate with our members as well as our other stakeholders and David’s experience in media relations will play a vital part in delivering this, as well as supporting our campaign for raising professional standards across the profession and our ambition to increase trust and confidence with the wider public on behalf of the profession."

David Ross comments on his appointment:

"I am arriving at an exciting time for the CII and I am looking forward to the new challenge and the host of issues facing the CII, and the profession as a whole, through this currently turbulent period."

Ross will join the CII on 29 June.
