CPI releases 2008 Annual Review

The Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) is pleased to announce the release of its 2008 Annual Review, available online from the CPI website, http://www.paper.org.uk.
Key issues covered in the Review include:
§ the Carbon Reduction Commitment and Climate Change Agreement;
§ the recovered market 'collapse';
§ quality recovered paper;
§ CPI’s corrugated promotional campaign;
§ health and safety.
Lists of both Full and Associate Members are also detailed within the review.
Following the success of past reviews, the 2008 Annual Review includes the latest edition of 'Key Industry Facts'. These Key Facts reflect all four Sectors of CPI Membership, covering years 1998 - 2008. As well as giving a broad overview of the UK paper industries, 'Key Industry Facts' provides accurate statistics including:
§ UK paper and board consumption;
§ paper and board mills and employees;
§ paper and board woodpulp usage;
§ recovered paper markets;
§ production of corrugated boxes
