Caroline Lucas MEP to deliver the CPRE annual lecture

This year's annual lecture is being given by Caroline Lucas MEP, leader of the Green Party.

The speech will consider pressures for conflicting environmental goods, such as the desire to maintain green spaces in cities while increasing density; to reduce carbon emissions from transport while avoiding damaging impacts on the countryside; and to exploit renewable energy opportunities while seeking to protect our rural landscapes.
