Bluefin Advisory Services is offering its 400 staff and advisers a unique support package to achieving the CII’s Diploma in Financial Planning in advance of the FSA's RDR announcement through their 'Advance' professional qualifications initiative.
The CII qualifications package, prepared in partnership with Bluefin Advisory Services, includes a flexible menu of learning support. Each adviser will be allocated a number of Bluefin Advisory Services points to create their own bespoke training package allowing them to select relevant learning support products which best meet their personal learning style.
Bluefin advisers will make their selection of training materials from the company’s intranet site which has been developed closely with the CII. Bluefin points can be used to cover the costs of a range of learning material such as; coursebooks, Key facts guides, on-line interactive e-learning, audio CDs and face to face training.
CII Corporate Development Manager, Lorraine Cox, says:
" 'Advance' offers a very innovative, creative and comprehensive solution to support Bluefin staff and advisers in achieving the CII's Diploma in Financial Planning qualification. Staff and advisers alike are being given the freedom and flexibility to create their own bespoke training packages, something that should maximise results.”
Richard Stokes, Director of Training and Development, Bluefin Advisory Services, commented:
“We developed this flexible package for our advisers as we knew how important it is to allow individuals to learn differently and in the way they know best. We felt allowing each adviser to select their own learning methods would clearly benefit the individual, whilst ensuring we get the best return on our investment."
