Rt Hon Alistair Darling MP
Home
Welcome to my website with ePolitix.
I am delighted to represent the new constituency of Edinburgh South West. For 18 years, I represented Edinburgh Central but 2005 boundary changes mean that Edinburgh now has fewer seats, Edinburgh Central disappearing.
I hope this site will be of interest to you and explain some of the work I do as the Labour Member of Parliament for Edinburgh South West and as the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
I am committed to serving all the people in my constituency and to ensuring their voice is heard in the House of Commons. If you live in my constituency and wish to contact me then you can write, fax, email or phone. I also run regular surgeries where you are welcome to come and speak to me. Click on “Contact Alistair” on the left for more details.
To find out more about what I have been doing in the constituency and in Parliament look at the Articles, Campaigns, Issues and Role in Parliament pages.
I have also included links to local and national organisations, which may be useful.

Any costs in connection with the set up or running of this site are funded from Parliamentary Allowances. Any complaints about the content should be made initially to the Director of Finance and Adninistration, House of Commons
