Since June 2001, when I was elected to serve as Member of Parliament for North Norfolk, I have taken up over 3,000 cases on behalf of constituents, held over a hundred surgeries, met local people the length and breadth of the constituency and campaigned on local issues ranging from orthopaedic surgery waiting times, school transport and hospital beds through to road safety schemes.

I've also had a busy parliamentary schedule and held two different parliamentary jobs in that time: deputy International Development spokesman for the Liberal Democrats, and now Treasury Spokesman for the Liberal Democrats.

It's hard work, but I've found it all tremendously rewarding and I look forward to future years of serving the people of North Norfolk.
