Hazel Blears MP, Home Office Minister for Policing and Crime Prevention speaks to residents during a ministerial visit to Ogmore last July. Ms Blears met with local Neighbourhood watch representatives in Nantymoel Social Club to discuss tackling anti-social behaviour in the community, and gave a speech to the Ogmore Labour Party Women's Forum at Pencoed Miners Welfare Hall. She also toured the constituency to see the challenges of community safety that affect upper valley areas and other communities away from the city centres.
