Welcome to my website, which is supplied courtesy of ePolitix.
I am Clare Short, Independent Member of Parliament for Birmingham Ladywood.
This website is for the many people who contact me asking for information about articles I have written, or speeches I have made. It contains copies of my speeches, articles and interviews since May 2003 and some speeches made when I was Secretary of State for International Development. For further ministerial speeches and publications from 1997-2003 please go to the Dfid website.
It is also for my Ladywood constituents so that I can keep them informed of what I am doing on their behalf.
