Stockport constituency is situated in Greater Manchester, to the south of the Manchester conurbation. It is a mixed residential area. Stockport Borough is flanked by Tameside to the north and Macclesfield to the south. It's also a gateway to Derbyshire in the east. Local government wards within the Stockport constituency are Brinnington, Cale Green, Davenport, Edgeley, Heaton Mersey, Heaton Moor and Manor.
