Roger Godsiff MP condemns Iraq bombing
Speaking after the appalling news of the coordinated Al-Qaeda bombings throughout Iraq Roger Godsiff said, "Yet again this is a deliberate attempt to try and destroy the elected Government in Iraq and to carry out such attacks on innocent women and children who were deliberately targeted, shows just what the Al-Qaeda organisation is like.
Of course, there will be people who act as apologists for these brutal atrocities and try and make out that its all the fault of foreign troops in Iraq but these attacks were not aimed against military targets but were deliberately aimed against civilians in order to terrorise and to kill as many Iraqi people as possible and they should be condemn by everybody who wants to see Iraq prosper in the future."
