    MP’S constituency engagements – May 2007

    West Derbyshire's Member of Parliament, Patrick McLoughlin, begins May with an advice bureau in Wirksworth on Friday 4 May.

    In the evening, at 7.00 pm in St Oswald’s Church Hall, Church Street, off Mayfield Road, Ashbourne, Patrick will be taking part in the Great Milk Debate. This event is being organised by the Derbyshire Federation of Women’s Institutes with the support of the National Farmers Union. The debate is to discuss the plight and future of the dairy industry and is open to the public.

    On Saturday 5 May, Patrick will be taking part in a sponsored walk in aid of the Bakewell Community Three Charities. The charities are Helen’s Trust, Bakewell and Eyam Community Transport and the Edale Mountain Rescue. The walk starts at 10 am from the Bakewell Agricultural Centre.

    On Monday 7 May, at 4 pm, Patrick will be attending the formal opening of the extended ground at Wirksworth Cricket Club.
