Kilwinning Clean Up

Taking part in the Eglington Park clean up Central Ayrshire MP Brian Donohoe MP said:

“This is an Excellent park and is used by all age groups. By promoting a week of action it will hopefully send out the message that dropping litter is unacceptable. There is no excuse as there are plenty of bins around and those who drop it spoil the environment for everyone else. It is encouraging that during this week pupils in most of the schools in Kilwinning are being made aware of their responsibilities when it comes to litter. However it is not just young people who drop litter so we all have lessons to learn. The point is quite clear – put your litter in a bin, don’t drop it.”
