DELIGHTED AT KEEPING SHADOW SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WALES ROLE - WILLIAMS

Commenting on Nick Clegg’s new Shadow Cabinet, Roger Williams MP was delighted at his re-appointment as Shadow Secretary of State for Wales.

Speaking after the announcement, Roger Williams said

“I am very pleased that Nick Clegg has put his confidence in me to continue the role of Shadow Secretary of State for Wales.

“The Liberal Democrat approach to further devolution is more in tune with the Welsh people than any other Welsh party.

“The people of Wales deserve full law making powers just as the Scottish nation has, but we do not wish to tinker with independence or the break up of the Union.”
