Ann's Christmas card comp winners

When it came to choosing her annual Christmas card this year, Stockport MP Ann Coffey wanted a Stockport theme. So instead of opting for a view of Westminster, Ann asked the children of Cale Green Primary school in Stockport to suggest their own designs

Ann said: "I send out several hundred cards at Christmas time, and I like to choose a card which reflects Stockport. The children at Cale Green came up with such beautiful designs that it was difficult to make a final choice. We ended up with one design on the front of the card, and six on the back!"

Children of all ages created artwork for Ann's Christmas card. The design on the front of the card is by Chloe White, aged 10.

On Friday 5th December Ann took part in a Cale Green school assembly to say a special thank-you to all the children who took part, and to present some prizes to Keira, Khowfang, Isobel, Jack, Lewis and Alia, whose designs all feature on our 2009 Christmas card.
