Statement on School Teachers' Review Body's 18th Report part 1

Voice: the union for education professionals has commented on the School Teachers' Review Body's 18th Report part 1 and Government response issued today (31 March 2009).

Principal Officer (Pay & Conditions) Deborah Simpson said: "We welcome the STRB's report and the Government's response.

"However, we hope that the review currently under way will uphold and indeed build upon the proposed 2.3% increase."
