Sir Mike Tomlinson: ensuring high quality education



You are invited to hear Sir Mike Tomlinson, chief adviser for London, give the keynote address at the annual Chartered London Teachers conference at the Institute of Education on Monday 23 February. He will speak on “Closing the Gap – how do we ensure high quality teaching and learning for all in London?” and his talk will start at 9.20 am.


Chartered London Teacher Status (CLT) was launched as part of the London Challenge in September 2004 to recognise and reward the skills and expertise of London teachers. Teachers work through 12 CLT standards, all of which are met in their daily work. Those who achieve the standards are awarded CLT status.
