Rio Tinto Uranium formed

Rio Tinto announces that Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA) and Rössing Uranium have approved the appointment of Rio Tinto Uranium to undertake marketing and sales services and sales contract administration for them.

Rio Tinto Uranium has been formed effective from 3 October 2005, based in London. It will undertake a centralised marketing role for Rio Tinto’s two uranium producers through a network of representatives in key markets. This will give a single point of contact for customers and greater efficiencies for ERA and Rössing.
