Law Society responds to controversial planning reforms

26 October 2011

The government is proposing to replace over 1,000 pages of planning policy guidance materials with a single document covering only 52 pages, the National Planning Policy Framework. The draft has generated intense public interest, not least the campaign Hands Off Our Land run by the Daily Telegraph. Over 13,000 responses have been submitted to the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
