FSB finalises conference line up

20 March 2006

The FSB has finalised the line up of speakers for its Annual Conference at the Palace Hotel in Manchester this week. The conference follows hot on the heels of the Chancellor Gordon Brown’s 10th Budget and the FSB’s launch of its biennial Barriers to Growth Survey.

John Hutton, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Alun Michael, the Industry Minister, Mark Prisk, the shadow Small Business Minister and Lorely Burt, small business spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats, are the political speakers at the conference, which runs from March 23 to 25 inclusive.

In addition to the views of the minister in charge of the Government’s pension policy, delegates will hear from Christine Farnish, CEO of the National Association of Pension Funds, at a time when pensions are top of the political and small business agenda.
