FSB Comment On Current Disturbances

16th September 2005

Commenting on the current situation, Federation of Small Businesses Policy Chairman Wilfred Mitchell said:

“The present disturbances do not encourage in any way the development of our local tourism industry and as a result small businesses will be hit financially”

“Small Businesses play an important role in our local economy, providing jobs and investment in every part of Northern Ireland and have a vital role in future economic and social regeneration for all local communities”

“An important element in all of this is the restoration of our Assembly, where locally elected and accountable ministers who represent local communities can be best placed to address their particular problems.”
