The Camden Green Fair and Bikefest is central London’s biggest free green festival for anyone who wants to enjoy life and save the planet at the same time. There’s music, massage, fashion, food and fun for all the family to inspire you to do your bit to help make London greener. You can:

  • Pop in to the ‘green house’ life-size installation of a typical home, to find out easy ways to reduce, reuse and recycle what you’d normally throw away, and how to save energy as well as pounds.
  • Expand your mind and find out how to get around in a greener way, with tips on walking, cycling safely, car sharing or test driving the latest electric cars.
  • Unwind your body with a relaxing massage or alternative therapy.
  • Indulge yourself with some ethical retail therapy at the market, learn how to make your own clothes and accessories at a workshop, try out knitting, or pick up some style tips at the ethical fashion show.
  • Entertain the kids and have a fun day as a family at the mini city farm, horse and cart rides, sports, music and arts and crafts.
  • Sit back and relax to the sounds of world music and local bands on the renewable energy-powered stage, or catch a movie at the solar cinema.
  • And if you fancy a break, grab something to eat from one of the top quality food stalls or sup an organic beer in the sunshine.

Last year’s event saw more than 20,000 visitors find out about the growing number of sustainable companies, products and campaigns. Celebrating its sixteenth birthday, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better – promoting green lifestyle choices for everyone, every day.
