Brush Hour

22 November 2007

With the Christmas party season upon us, fresh breath is a must for moments under the mistletoe. Which? has tested the best electric toothbrushes on the market, including the “sat-nav” of toothbrushes, and reveals that a good electric toothbrush can cost as little as £3.

Which? has also taken a look at the Tooth Tunes musical brush, designed to encourage kids to brush for longer.

Which? reveals it's fresher to shop on foot

Online grocery shopping may save you time, but the food delivered to your doorstep may not be as fresh as you would expect.

A new Which? report has found that some food bought from online supermarkets is nearer the use-by date than the same products bought in store from the same retailer. One loaf of bread had a sell-by date eight days later than the same bread bought from the store's online service.

Top toys for Christmas

Which? has taken a look at the toys expected to be big sellers this Christmas, and advises parents which ones to buy, and the toys they should avoid.

Squawkers McCaw, a talking parrot, and the Smart Cycle, an exercise bike for kids, get the thumbs up from the testing panel, while the Kid-Tough Digital Camera was rated as one to leave out of stockings this Christmas.

Weetabix – Spot the difference

Weetabix have been accused of hoodwinking parents over the sugar content of its Oatibix Bitesize cereal.

Which? has discovered that Oatibix Bitesize contains more than four times the amount of sugar than the standard sized version, despite being marketed at children.
