Breakthrough wins a Plain English Award!

20 December 2011

We were delighted to receive an award from the Plain English Campaign for our 'Touch, Look, Check' leaflet on 9 December 2011.

The Plain English Campaign which "campaigns against gobbledygook" presents the awards every year to recognise those who have genuinely made an effort to present themselves using clear and concise English.

Our 'Touch, Look, Check' breast awareness message has been designed to help women understand how to check their breasts and when to visit a doctor.

People affected by breast cancer helped us to the design the leaflet and ensure that it was simple and easy to understand.

Receiving this accolade is further confirmation that the leaflet hits the mark and we thank everyone who helped with its development.
