BRC OFFERS PRINTING DEAL FOR MEMBERS

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is pleased to announce it has developed a new single source supply print procurement service for its members.

The service will allow members to purchase all of their print requirements, from letterheads to full colour corporate communications material, through one company.

The service will be managed by a central management company, which will allow members to make significant cost savings and see a marked improvement in efficiency.

BRC Director General, Kevin Hawkins, says: "We are constantly striving to seek out new deals for our members which will allow them to deliver best practice and ultimately save them money.

"Initial feedback with members has proved positive and in one instance, preliminary discussions look to be able to save one member £50,000."

The print procurement service will also be linked to e-auctions. The services include:

· Creative Services: Content management, design, DTP, presentations, multimedia, translations,
· Print Management: e-procurement, operational print, marketing print, direct mail, point of sale, annual reports, secure printing,

· Document Processing: Scanning, data capture, data management, internet/intranet, e-forms, archive,
· Warehouse & Logistics: Inventory management, stock control, fulfilment and distribution.
