A new look at standards

Today we are hosting 'A New Look at Standards'. The purpose of the event is to open up the debate on standards, taking a fresh look to identify the issues surrounding the regulatory agenda.

This debate will inform the work of Ofqual in developing and strengthening standards over the next two years.

The Secretary of State for Education the Right Honorable Michael Gove MP will give the key note address.

He will be joined by other speakers Glenys Stacey, Chief Executive of Ofqual, Dennis Opposs, Ofqual's Director of Standards and Tim Oates, Group Director of Assessment Research and Development for Cambridge Assessment.

There will also be panel discussions on qualification content and grading.

Information from the event, which is taking place in Central London, will be added to this page in due course.
