Whizz-Kidz

Whizz-Kidz is a national charity and leading provider of vital mobility equipment, including powered and lightweight wheelchairs - giving young disabled people the independence to enjoy a more active childhood. We are focused on supporting families who are unable to access the mobility equipment and support they need through the NHS. The majority of our beneficiaries are from low income families with a joint income of less than £23,000.

We also provide disabled young people with sustained support on their life journey. Our Wheelchair Skills Training enables disabled young people to use their mobility equipment to the maximum, while our life skills training aims to enhance their skills and self confidence in their transition to adulthood. The programme includes the provision of work placements and campaigning training.
