Manufacturing Dialogue

Manufacturing Dialogue

The Dods UK Manufacturing Dialogue is bringing together the political and business communities to discuss what the government should be doing to help the UK manufacturing sector grow.

The Dialogue is a policy forum designed to fuel discussion on the role of the UK manufacturing industry in helping to rebalance the country's post-recession economy. Contributors will be drawn from government, industry, academia and representative bodies.

Analysis and findings from the programme will be produced in a final report to be published by November 2011.

Please view the second progress report from the Manufacturing Dialogue, "The future of the UK manufacturing sector and recommendations for change".

On the 20th May, Dr Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills opened a Manufacturing Dialogue Summit in the North West. More information can be found here.
