Miss Anne McIntosh, MP for the Vale of Yorkshire, Perspective Parliamentary Candidate for Thirsk and Malton and Shadow Environment Minister will hold the a farmers meeting with local farmers at Thirsk Rural Business Centre tomorrow, Thursday 25th September at 11.30am.
Miss McIntosh said “I have arranged for Richard Taylor, Director of Corporate Affairs at Morrissons Supermarkets and also Helen Owens, a member of Yorkshire Forward’s Rural Development Programme, to come and address the farmers. It will be a very good opportunity for local farmers their concerns regarding numerous rural and farming issues such as supermarket prices and competition and also to hear about the role of Yorkshire Forward and the services they can provide.”
