Local government pension scheme talks continue 

Following the crucial meeting with John Prescott yesterday, talks about proposed changes to the LGPS were adjourned for a further two weeks for the employers and trade unions to come to a workable solution.
 
On leaving the meeting, John Allott, Amicus National Officer for Local Authorities said: "Amicus welcomes the fact that we have been given another two weeks to try to work out an amicable solution and we will be working very hard to do just this."
