ATL COMMENT ON OFSTED PROPOSAL FOR ON THE SPOT INSPECTIONS

Commenting on Ofsted’s proposal for on the spot inspections, Dr Mary Bousted, general secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), said:  “Ofsted needs to support better teaching and learning, not place teachers on a treadmill of continuous preparedness for inspections.”
