London Buses Revamp R62 Service
The troubled R62 service which runs from West Mid through Whitton to Hampton Sainsbury faces a rerouting in order to fill seats in the currently almost empty buses. London Buses propose routing the Telling Golden Miller buses via Hospital Bridge Road rather than Hanworth Road but according to Vincent Cable MP the bus planners are “totally missing the point: that there is need for more frequent services, currently hourly. There are many local people who need a bus to get to and from the West Middlesex to work or visit relatives. But they will not stand an hour in all weathers waiting for a bus unless they are absolutely desperate. I am concerned that London Buses will spend a lot of money on new bus stops, and inconveniencing the few people on the existing route who do use the bus, while not addressing the real problem.”Latest Press Releases
