Vincent Cable
MP’s Christmas Card Winners
Seven local primary schools participated in the competition to design a Christmas card for Vincent Cable MP. The winners in each school gathered on Friday at the MP’s offices in Lion Road, Twickenham. The overall winner was Lucy Theobald, aged 8, from St Stephen’s C of E.
Vincent Cable said: “There were some beautiful and imaginative designs and it was extremely difficult to pick a winner. Lucy’s was chosen and now adorns cards going out to hundreds of local people and organisations. The picture, of angels, captures both the religious and wider appeal of Christmas.”
