ROSIE MEETS DONCASTER YOUTH COUNCIL


Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central met with Doncaster Youth Council last night, Thursday 19 July 2007, at the Mansion House.
Rosie says
“I was very pleased to have been invited by Doncaster Youth Council to meet with them and talk about the role of an MP and my responsibilities as Minister at the Department for Transport. We had a very interesting and informed discussion regarding their concerns relating to voting at 16 and young drivers.”
The Youth Council is committed to improving the lives of young people across Doncaster, through working with the Local Authority, Young Peoples Service providers and local communities to ensure the views of young people are heard and that young people are involved in decisions that effect them.
