ROSIE SUPPORTS RADAR

Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central met with constituents on Friday 2 February at the South Yorkshire Centre for Inclusive Living (SYCIL) at the Doncaster Disability Resource Centre, Sovereign House, Heavens Walk, Doncaster as part of the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation (RADAR) MP Dialogue Scheme 2007.
RADAR, a leading pan-disability organisation, has co-ordinated an MP Dialogue Scheme for a number of years to offer MPs and disabled people the chance to have a structured, one-to-one ‘dialogue’ about current disability issues.
Rosie said
“I am delighted to support the RADAR MP Dialogue Scheme, which highlights the importance of disability organisations and people with disabilities engaging with their MPs and campaigning for a fully inclusive society.
I found the meetings with disabled constituents very useful and informative. I would like to thank SYCIL who organised today’s event.”
SYCIL arranged for constituents to meet with Rosie to discuss issues that were of concern to them concerning disability.
