ROSIE JOINS CHRISTCHURCH DANCERS IN FOURTEENTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

The Rt Hon Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central will be presenting two cheques each of £1,250 to Doncaster branches of The Parkinson Disease Society and Alzheimer’s Society at 2.00 p.m. on Friday 15 September at Parklands Ballroom, Wheatley Hall Road, Doncaster.

Mrs Malinda Lygo has invited Rosie to join the Christchurch Dancers in celebrating their fourteenth anniversary and to make a presentation of cheques totalling £2,500, raised at charity dances to the Doncaster branches of Parkinson’s Disease Society and Alzheimers Society.

Rosie says

“I am delighted to have been invited to join the dancers in celebrating their fourteenth year and thank them for all their help over the years to raise money for local charities.”

All proceeds from the dances held at Parklands Ballroom are given to charity, after deducting the cost of paying for the room, musicians and advertising.  


Rosie Winterton MP opened the Balby Bridge tenants and residents association fun day on Saturday 19th August. Rosie is pictured (photo attached) at the Boughen community centre, HQ of the TARA with, from left to right:
