ROSIE PRAISES LOCAL NHS STAFF

Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central, today congratulated local NHS staff as local hospitals get good ratings in the latest findings released today.

In the Trust’s first annual health check, published by the Healthcare Commission, Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals achieved the ‘good’ rating in several areas, putting local hospitals amongst the best performing in the country. This follows last week’s announcement that the hospitals are rated ‘excellent’ in admissions management. The Trust has also been praised for its cancer services.

Rosie says

“I congratulate all the local NHS staff who have worked hard to make sure that we here in Doncaster have the best hospital care. The hard work of these people and the Government’s massive investment in the NHS mean that we can all enjoy better health care.”
