ROSIE OPENS SCHOOL FUN RUN
Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central will be at Kirk Sandall Infant School on Sunday 3 February at 12.00 Noon to open the ‘Run A Mile With A Smile’ fun run to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Kirk Sandall Infant School has organised the fun run around its playing field and is aimed specifically at children aged 8 and under with 68 children taking part from schools around the area.
Rosie says
“Kirk Sandall Infant School have worked hard to develop exciting athletics projects for children both at the school and in the local community. This fun run is a great way for them to participate in sport, have fun and at the same time raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. ”
The School is also celebrating a successful bid to the Lottery “Awards for All” and Rosie will be presenting a cheque for £10,000 for the development of a Community Athletics Club.
