ROSIE VISITS THALES SITE IN DONCASTER

Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central will be visiting the Thales Task Management Centre, Unit 4, Carolina Court, Wisconsin Drive, Doncaster, DN4 5RA on Friday 14 July. 

Justin Walker, Managing Director of Thales Services UK has invited Rosie to visit the National Task Management Centre in Doncaster and meet the staff. 

Rosie says

 “I am pleased to have received an invitation from Thales National Task Management Centre to visit their site National Task Management Centre here in Doncaster and to have had the opportunity to meet with their local employees.”

The site in Doncaster employs over 100 people who are responsible for managing telecom services faulting, maintenance and installation capability for customers such as Network Rail.  The centre here in Doncaster receives reports from customers experiencing telecommunication problems. Staff at the centre then allocate the jobs, deploying over 500 technicians around the clock.

Justin Walker says

“We are very pleased that Rosie has taken the time in her busy schedule to visit us today in Doncaster.  Our staff here do a fantastic job providing a nationwide service which is key to the UK rail infrastructure.  Thales is proud to be a part of the local community and we hope to strengthen our ties to the area with our bid to be involved in the South Yorkshire Digital Region project.”
