Rosie Publishes Guide for Local Older People
Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central, today published a Guide for Older People which outlines all the help available for older and retired people in Doncaster Central.
The leaflet outlines what assistance there is for older people and what you need to do to claim that help, including a full list of useful telephone numbers.
There is information on schemes such as help with health costs, help with council tax costs, the pension credit, cheaper bus fares and free TV licences.
Rosie will be making copies of the leaflet available to libraries, retirement homes, luncheon clubs and other community venues around Doncaster Central.
Rosie said:
“There is a lot of help available for older people, and I want to make sure that my constituents are not missing out. This leaflet provides an easy way of accessing that help, including lots of local telephone numbers.
“Anyone who would like to receive a copy should call my office on 735 241.”
Anyone interested in receiving a copy of the leaflet should call Rosie’s office on 01302 735 241 - the leaflet is available in larger font upon request.
