Rosie Welcomes Better Services for Young People
Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central, today welcomed new moves to create better services for local young people.
Speaking as the Government published the Youth Green Paper, Rosie said:
“I am delighted that the Green Paper has reflected what local young people have told me – that we need to give young people more things to do and more places to go in their local area.
“Listening to young people of all ages means services and opportunities will be tailored to meet their needs, and not what adults think they need.
“I will be sending out questionnaires to local young people which will give them the chance to respond directly to this Green Paper and have their say in what young people need and want.”
